Mitral Valve Prolapse

Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is a common heart condition in which the valve that separates the upper and lower chamber on the left side of the heart does not close normally after blood flows through it.Part of the mitral valve buldges backwards into the upper chamber of the heart. Mitral valve prolapse is not dangerous and usually does not damage your heart.  You can live a normal life without requiring any change of lifestyle.
